These Terms of Service (the "Agreement") govern your access to and use of Message Deleter (the "Service"), including the Message Deleter browser extension and the website at messagesdeleter.app. The Service is owned and operated by Aleksandr Chermashentsev, an individual sole trader based in Phuket, Thailand ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

Message Deleter is a browser extension that helps you delete your own messages in bulk on the third-party chat platform the extension works with (the "Platform"). It runs in your browser, acts using your own logged-in Platform session, and only deletes messages you already have permission to delete under the Platform's rules. A free plan with a daily deletion limit is available to everyone; the paid Lifetime plan removes the daily limit and unlocks advanced filters.

License

Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to install and use Message Deleter for your personal or internal business purposes.

Acceptable use

• You are responsible for what you delete. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
• You must comply with the Platform's terms of service and community guidelines.
• You must not use the Service to harass others, destroy evidence you are legally required to keep, or otherwise break the law.
• You must not resell, sublicense, or rent the Service, or modify, reverse engineer, or decompile it, except where the law allows this despite this restriction.

Purchases and payments

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: Paddle processes the payment, calculates and collects any applicable sales tax or VAT, issues the receipt, and handles billing inquiries and refunds. When you buy, you also agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms.

• Lifetime plan: a one-time payment of US $9.99 (plus any applicable tax shown at checkout). It does not renew and there is nothing to cancel.
• Delivery: the license is delivered digitally. It is attached to the email address used at checkout and unlocks the paid features in the extension immediately after payment.
• Refunds: you can get a full refund within 14 days of purchase, as described in our Refund Policy.

We may change prices for future purchases. A price change never affects a license you have already bought.

Your account

Signing in is passwordless: we email you a one-time sign-in link. Keep access to your email account secure, as anyone who can read it can sign in to your Message Deleter account.

Third-party services

The Service works with third-party services, including the Platform. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of third-party services, and your use of them is subject to their own terms.

Intellectual property

The Service and its content, features, and functionality are owned by Aleksandr Chermashentsev and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. This Agreement does not transfer any ownership rights to you.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach this Agreement, for example by using the Service to break the law. If we end your access to a paid license without such a breach, we will refund the amount you paid.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the extent permitted by law. The Service depends on the Platform's interfaces, which the Platform may change at any time; we do not guarantee that every message can be deleted or that the Service will be uninterrupted.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to this Agreement or the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the preceding 12 months. We will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data resulting from deletions you initiate. Nothing in this Agreement limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Your consumer rights

If you are a consumer, you benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live. Nothing in this Agreement affects your rights as a consumer to rely on those mandatory provisions.

Governing law and disputes

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand, subject to the section above. Please contact us first at support@messagesdeleter.app and we will try to resolve any dispute informally.

Independent product

Message Deleter is an independent software product and is not an official product of Discord Inc. It is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Discord Inc. “Discord” is a trademark of its owner.

Changes to these terms

We may update this Agreement from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a revised date and give reasonable notice of material changes. Changes never reduce the rights attached to a license you have already bought.
